Harvesters

This is a tiny picture but it is easy to imagine it as vast. But it doesn’t need to be large to draw you unresisting across a room to look at it closely. On a prosaic level it represents workers at the end of the day’s harvest assembled round a fire as the day deepens into night and the moon emerges brightly. But as an experience you are aware of the whole scene vibrating with the intensity of something mystical.
