Christine Clearkin started compiling a catalogue raisonné of Richard's paintings and drawings, in repsonse to a request from Philippa and Caroline.
2015
Caroline, Philippa and Paul travelled with camera, tripod, laptop, lights, polarizing filters and easel to take high resolution colour corrected digital images of a large set of Eurichs in a private collector's home. This was the first of several journeys around the country to photograph collections small and large, public and private.
On this occasion with so many works to photograph it was a baptism of fire, made bearable by the great patience of the collector and the thrill of seeing so many great Eurichs close up in one place. Over the years since then the team have found ways of streamlining the process and getting what was needed in some quite challenging locations.
