"In 1969, I went to live with my husband near Zurich in Switzerland. It was a great event when my parents came out to visit us a couple of years later. My father never travelled if he could help it! However several paintings came of his visit in spite of the landscape being a bit alien to his sensibility. This one and also Glarner Alp, which he donated to the school my brother, sister and I attended at one time or another. Also Mythen Alp and The Shroud (painted a decade later)."
