- PB1979 must have been quite a snowy winter. Nash Road was parallel with our road (West Road) in Dibden Purlieu. In reality there are quite a few houses on either side of the road but Dad obviously didn’t want the fussiness of all the buildings but just the monochrome of winter evergreens. At the far end of the road you can see the trees of the Forest. That wonderful dip in the road is what made it fascinating, as the other village roads were rather flat. The children are apparently making snowballs.
