I love this picture partly because it reminds me of childhood holidays in this very place! It was Clifton Farmhouse situated next to the defunct aerodrome outside York. This is the Foldyard and there were chickens and a couple of goats there. It was the home of Dad’s younger sister. York minster was indeed visible from there….
