The Rainbow

Richard submitted a work titled The Rainbow (1977) to the 1978 RA summer show and another titled The Rainbow (1981) to the 1982 RA summer show. We have very little information on either. A sparse entry in his sales diary refers to one of them having been sold to a collector from Mexico. We have attributed that sale to the 1981 work, but there is no certainty this is correct.
