We think this might be a sketch of a Revenge class (aka Royal Sovereign class) battleship, but we do not know which one. RE's "HMS 'Revenge' Leaving Harbour" shows a Revenge class ship but HMS Revenge was not in Portsmouth in 1942 . His "HMS Resolution Returning to Portsmouth" (see below) shows another Revenge class ship, but HMS Resolution was only in Portsmouth in 1941.
