This is a fairly straightforward interpretation of Lepe Beach looking towards the mouth of the Beaulieu River. For a few years in succession, the raft was moored a few metres from the beach for people to swim out to and dive off. It was great fun while it lasted. It looks like a breezy day, fine for swimming but too chilly for sunbathing!
