RA Summer Exhibitions
- PBIn the summer of 1960 our whole family was invited to stay with a good friend, Frank Kay, in Lytham St. Anne’s in Lancashire. He had recently been widowed and wanted some company. We loved his large rambling house, and grounds running down to the sand dunes with sharp marram grass. From upstairs windows you could see across to the River Ribble. My father must have sketched the view from their bedroom window.
