The Surf Board

This is the magical evening light when the colours intensify as the sun gets lower in the sky. The sea and sky are a harmonious whole vibrating with the warmth of departing day while the beach and the figures are caught full-on in the rays. It looks to my layman’s eyes as if the boy is folding up the mast . . .  there is definitely effort and awkwardness involved!
