Richard writes in his sales diary about Robin Hood's Town:

Purchased by Smith Rouse le Rouse for Johannesburg but seems to be in Canada!" 

He added this note to the diary later in his life and we wonder if he was thinking of another work that did go to South Africa - Red Roofs, Robin Hood's Bay, Yorkshire (1938).
