Although there is a Redfern Gallery label on the back of this painting confirming it was in the October 1936 exhibition, there is no record of a work with this title in the exhibition catalogue. It could possibly have been shown as Patrol Boat, Portland (c1936) , Cat 33,  which has the same dimensions, and which we have no illustration for.
