John Bickerdike Junior

RE was a good friend of the sculptor and puppet maker John Bickerdike. We believe RE painted this picture in memory of a his friend's son, who as a young man, was contaminated with radioctivity while working at Porton Down. He died and so did his mother from washing his clothes.
