This picture has the sedate quality of a commission which is indeed what it was. It is interesting how the main point of interest, the Royal Yacht Britannia, is in the distance over on the left, but in fact all the celebratory paraphernalia and bunting in the Yarmouth harbour and the little town beyond give the occasion its air of festivity.
